The Insulation Council of Australia and New Zealand (ICANZ) has suffered a serious image issue following the Federal Government's failed Home Insulation Program (HIP) which was initiated as an economic stimulus package following the

2008 global financial crisis.

When the HIP failed following the deaths of four insulation installers, countless house fires and media exposure of shonky insulation operators, insulation as a product was considered to be a hot political potato and its profile as the most cost effective and best energy saving device was pushed aside. Network Four has been engaged by ICANZ to begin a process of media liaison, government liaison and strategic development to assist the Council convince government bureaucrats and politicians to reconsider their position particularly in relation to non-combustible glass wool and rock wool insulation products.
